4:19 Solomon also made these items for God’s temple: the gold altar, the tables on which the Bread of the Presence ¹  was kept,

18:26 Say, ‘This is what the king says: “Put this man in prison. Give him only a little bread and water ²  until I return safely.”’”

[4:19]  sn This bread offered to God was viewed as a perpetual offering to God. See Lev 24:5-9.
